July Launch

Our July launch is being held at our Apache Pass launch site.  Summer is in full swing, so be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.  Maximum altitude will be set based on wind and cloud conditions.  No sparky motors are allowed 

due to this being an all grass field.

A tracking device is highly recommended for high power rockets.  Corn in the neighboring fields has grown over head height making visual only recovery difficult.  Even an audio only beacon would prove quite useful.

The recent rain will hopefully hold off any potential burn ban.  Be sure to check our Launch Status webpage before heading out to the field just in case a cancellation is required.
