Rockamole Regional

The 2001 Rockamole regional was held at AARG's P3 field in Pflugerville. Rain clouds and sprinkles threatened to scrub the launch on Friday, but the showers never came through. Winds on Saturday morning got the launch off to a slow start, but after a brisk frontal passage around lunch, things settled down to flyable, and quite a few birds took to the air. Events for the contest were:

Sunday morning brought light winds dropping down to almost nothing in the afternoon. Many people had held off the majority of flights until Sunday making for a busy day at the range head.
