The August sport launch was a smoking hot good time for all. There were many flights from model to high power, and even a hybrid launch by Terry Parks. There were a number of Level 1 qualification flights:

• Luis Salinas - Estes Starlight upscale on an H180
• George Nincehelser - PML Callisto on an H-180
