| TSD Rocket Club | ||
The TSD rocket club was started as an after school activity for middle school students with the help of TSD middle school science teacher Chris Costello and Rudy Anderson who coordinated a signing Americorps volunteer to help with the program. The club met on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30, learning about rockets, building them, and flying small rockets on the school ground. The group met 7 times in Oct-Dec 2003 and 6 times in April-May 2004. The Spring session culminated in a launch at AARG's Sunflower Ranch launch site.
